About Alexander
Hello everyone,
My name is Alex and I have been in teaching for over 4 years. Prior to teaching in Public Education I served for 28 years in the military during which I had many opportunities to teach and counsel Marines. I recently left teaching, but still want to keep the connections to what drew me to the field which is helping others get better and grow everyday. I have a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education with a Major in History and a minor Political Science. I am a certificated educator in History, Social Studies, and English Language Arts. I am also currently enrolled in my Masters with Colorado State University Global.
I taught during the remote learning times brought on by the school closures due to COVID, so I am familiar with remote/ online learning. I also have a ton of experience on the other end of remote learning as a student, so I appreciate the complexities of that style of learning.
I am excited about the opportunity to be part of the learning process again!
