About Austin
Hi my name is Austin and I have been helping teach and tutor for about 5 years now in both undergrad and grad school settings. I have always enjoyed working with students to help improve their grades and GPA’s. My method of tutoring begins with establishing a students “roots.” It is important that a student is able to understand the basics and be well rooted in those skills before jumping into the difficult problems. This helps eliminate any fears or doubts and builds the students confidence in themselves. I also believe the best way to learn is by repetition. The more ways you can see, hear, and do something the easier it is for your brain to repeat it.
I come from a background in math, health, and science. I graduated in the top 10 of my high school class with high honors. I then went on to achieve my bachelors degree in general science from Palmer College of Chiropractic. It was here that I also acquired my Doctorate degree in chiropractic. During my time in school I helped tutor math, chemistry, radiology, and anatomy and physiology. I am more than happy to help any and all age ranges and have flexible hours to work with as well.
I enjoy being able to help others reach their goals. I have always had a desire to help others as I too was helped along my educational career. Sometimes a little help is all it takes to get your feet pointed in the right direction. I look at tutoring as my chance to help others find their direction to reach their goals and dreams.
