About Nicole
I have a decade of teaching experience of many different styles of yoga and many different ability levels of students. I try to keep yoga as a fun, accesible, and holistic as possible while not taking myself too seriously. My own practice has been going for a bit over 2 decades. I like to blend my natural health degree, my ordination and my love of joy a part of how I can serve people. I also am a yoga therapist which helps me to work more in depth with body, mind and soul of my students/ clients.
I love to work with people. I really enjoy yoga and how it can be so helpful and such service to so many.
I have been practicing yoga for 20 years. I was asked by my teachers to start teaching. I studied unde an Integral Yoga teach for over a year and under a. Iyengar teacher for a couple years. I received my first level of yoga training (200 hours) from YAMA Studios in Maryland and my advanced training (500 hours) from the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale PA. I then received more trainings including my yoga therapy training which is like a Masters Degree program.

About the lesson

When taking on individual clients there is an intake form filled out and an initial consultation. We then work together on a yoga, exercise, meditation program that includes a personal practice and one on one sessions.
I also will work with private groups.

Make sure you have a good relationship with your teacher. You should feel comfortable with their education, delivery and experience. Research where they received training and make sure that the style in which they teach works with your own personal values and beliefs.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A Dr should be included in situations regarding physical or mental issues. It is best to check in and make sure physical or inner work is acceptable at this time in your life if you are dealing with an acute injury or the beginning stages of treatment for emotion or mental dis-regulation.
Be aware of pain, discomfort, physical ability, eating and sleeping patterns, current stress situations, physical strength and weakness as well as flexibility.

What time, day, frequency are you availble to work with the teacher?
Any current acute illness that you are being treated for that might be affected by physical or mental/ emotional work?
