About Katherine
Hello! I am a recent graduate from Hofstra University. I earned my BA in Drama and English with a concentration in Literature/Creative Writing and a minor in Musical Theatre. I was a competitive soccer player, am an actress, and enjoy reading in my free time.
As a tutor, I am passionate about helping students find a love of learning and encouraging them to be the best student-version of themselves. This requires a very individualized approach. I adjust and create lessons specific to my students to ensure that they can get the most growth out of our lessons together while still enjoying the time. I welcome feedback from both students and parents (we never stop learning (: ).
I look forward to connecting and helping students grow their love for English and Reading. I have been sharing my knowledge for over 2 years now through tutoring and am excited to continue after graduating.
