Clarify what type of Self-Defense training is needed. Either in workshop form, private training, or within their organization.
Ages 12 to 72.
Healthy and athletic clients to women abused and assaulted.
Guardian required in attendance for ages 12-17.
Find someone with a lot of experience in training and life. Self-Defense training should not be limited to only one type of martial art form. Self-Defense training is not a martial art or sport. Self-Defense training is about surviving an attack and getting away. Self-Defense training is about removing women from a constant state of fear. You must be able to trust your instructor. Someone with your best interests at heart.

This course was a game changer for me! 1 in 3 American women experience domestic violence, in their lifetimes. This is a shocking statistic! As a survivor of domestic abuse, I had gone to therapy to address the emotional scars, but it had never occurred to me to take a self-defense course and learn how to fight back.
