About Shylah
I'm a sophomore in high school taking pre-calculus, which is a senior math class and means I can tutor anybody in middle or high school. I have always finished math with a 97 or better, and I have helped a few of my friends along the way. Although I am not a professional tutoring company, I can provide cheaper services and have a personal connection with your child.
I love to help students develop a love for math even if they find it difficult. I know a lot of people that say math is fun once they understand and in order to understand it a little bit better, some students need a push. I feel that I only nudge them in the right direction and students feel accomplished and independent after they figure it out.
I have been helping my friends for a while and one of my teachers said I should tutor others. I know math is a difficult subject for a lot of people and since I am still in high school, it makes it easy for me to connect with students and gain some insight on their struggles.
I am currently taking a senior math class as a sophomore and plan to take AP Calculus and AP Statistics to further my love for math.
