About Kate
I like to focus on a standpoint that is straight forward and easy to learn from but is fun and engaging
My teacher noticed that I was working ahead in math and at the time she could not let me pass to the next grade of math so to help me not work so far ahead after I had completed my work she would have me go and help kids in my classroom or in grades under me.
In school I often help others in my grade or grades below me as I am in math a grade ahead of me.

I like to ask them or the parents what they need help with or are struggling with then with the kid I ask them some questions related to the areas they struggle with and from there evaluate them and see what I can do to help.
I have worked with a wide array of students including autistic and mentally challenged.
Find someone who you like and who fits your personality. You will not like everyone and I personally will not be offended if you choose to find a new tutor.
I help a kid catch up with all of his classmates after he had been out of school for 2 months.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
"How do you like to make things fun?"
"What kinds of things will you help me go over?"
"What is your name?"
