I have tutored on and off since college (2012), and happy to help those in need

I have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. And a Master’s in Business Administration.

I ask them to bring their textbooks and school work. And then talk with me about where they are struggling. This could be with/without parents. Once we do that, I work through an assignment with them. Step by step. If they feel it was helpful, then we set up the next meeting.

I think asking for honest feedback from a teacher is the best start. They can typically show you your gaps. And suggest where you need to work extra.
