About Manvir
Hi, I'm Manvir and I'm a senior at Columbia University studying Economics and Mathematics. For high school, I went to Bronx Science, taking 15+ advanced classes, such as AP Physics C, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and Multivariable Calculus. I scored a 5 on all AP tests, 1550+ on the SAT, and 35 on the ACT. I have 5 years of tutoring experience in test-prep (SAT, ACT, PSAT, and GED), general arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra 1 & 2, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, physics, and accounting. I also coach study skills and offer assistance with the college application process.
I truly believe that everyone can succeed, which is why I am always patient and determined to help my students perform at the highest level. I make sure to instill great studying habits, do thorough review/practice of the material, and provide my students with the confidence they need to do their best. My students have praised me for my patience, professionalism, and positive attitude.

Perfect! Our experience with Manvir was amazing. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does and is very pleasant to work with. Manvir is a great tutor for SAT and ACT prep! He was knowledgeable about the exam questions and gave me good tips. He takes complex questions and breaks them down into easier to understand parts and was extremely patient with me when I didn’t understand. I would highly recommend Manvir to anyone looking for help with their studies.
My son has been struggling to score above a 1500 over the past year. One of my colleagues at work recommended me to Manvir and I decided to give online tutoring a try. My son has always disliked tutoring but Manvir made it a very enjoying and engaging experience for him. On the recent SAT, my son finally scored a 1560 (very proud) after scoring consistent 1500s on practice tests. Manvir went out of his way to provide additional practice to cover my son's weaknesses and tutoring has become something that my son will always look forward to.
I was struggling with my calculus and physics classes before Manvir helped me to do better. He has a good way of explaining topics and gives examples of similar problems for you to understand them. Manvir helped boost my grades in both classes from the 70s to 85-90s consistently.
Manvir is great!! I was struggling a lot with AP Physics 1 and he was very helpful. I am not a very quick learner when it comes to the sciences, but Manvir was very patient and guided me through everything thoroughly. He provided a lot of great tips he said he used himself when he was in high school. He also went on to help me with Calculus as well. Both were amazing experiences and I performed very well. If you need a tutor for Physics or Calculus, go to Manvir!!
He was a great tutor and helped me a lot with the SAT and ACT. I was struggling a lot with the math section of the SAT and also numerous sections on the ACT, but he helped me become more consistent on both of the tests, while gaining speed and accuracy. My score on the SAT math went up by more than 100 points and my act score went up by 1.5.
