The greatest gift is sharing the passion of teaching!
As a high school student, learning multiple advanced placement subjects was not merely exhausting but tiring. After trying different tutors and learnings centers, my high school AP Statistics teacher challeged me to teach friends and other students and see if I would not learn better. Since then, I have embraced a passion for teaching through identifying each clients' and students' learning styles.
With many learning styles per client and student, a nimble teaching style will employ the practices borne from popular author of the book "Multiple Intelligences" by Howard Gardner

A personalized Road Map identifying critical topics is tailored to each client or student's needs in accordance with respective syllabi or goals utilizing the textbook or reference in use.
Weekly goals will be set and accordingly adjusted to accommodate schedules and/or works hours with assignments distributed as seen fit or at request.
A monthly review is held to always ensure progress at that time is statisfactory or adjust the sessions so they are.
Typical ages of students have been in high school to college grade levels.
Attempt to identify what element of your learning and studying habits are presenting the most difficulty. Is it taking notes in the class room or during lectures, reading the textbook, or translating the concepts and theories to answer questions and problems.
Somtimes our difficulties in learning and getting the grade we want can be due to simple resolvable habits, such as not identifying the keywords or recurring vocabulary to a certain text, or lack revisiting a fundamental concept required for comprehension of critical topics.
Such things as formula sheets, flash cards, or simple cliff notes will be used to help each individual client or student needs.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Is a roadmap provided to identify current students progress, needs, and future goals?
Whether client or students goals can be realistically achieved within their respective time frame.
Abitility to access the resources being used in the classroom, including, textbooks, calculators, etc..
How much time is actually needed to achieve goals, and how to align the goals and time frame with a budget?
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Last year, I was in search of a tutor to help my daughter prepare for the math section of the SAT & ACT. With the weight of college entrance exams on her shoulders, she had much difficulty focusing, less motivating herself. Mr. Jung was the third tutor that I had exhaustively reached out to; the prior tutors and learning centers, merely providing off-the-shelf services to each and every student alike. Mr. Jung's personalized approach not only helped to initially raise my daughter's confidence, but subsequently rose her scores on the exam. I highly recommend his services to other parents and students who may find themselves in a similar situation, as he truly does care.
Paul is an excellent tutor. My child is no longer having difficulty with math. Paul's patience, professionalism, and ability to explain, has resulted in my child now understanding the concepts of the subject.
Thank you Paul!Paul did a wonderful job explaining all the key topics in a clear and concise manner. I’m glad I chose him and look forward to follow up instructions as needed! Thanks again, Paul.
Mr. Jung singlehandedly carried me through my undergraduate Mathematics program. Without Mr. Jung: 1) I would have never graduated, and 2) never received my job offer from a Fortune 500 financial firm. By extention, Mr. Jung saved my professional future. He's clear, concise and shoots you straight. A phenomenal mentor and education pathfinder. He's a true trailblazer in the tutor community.
