About Alyssa
I am excited to be working with my students and teaching them all about numbers, and how they can be used in our daily lives. I hope that my efforts will get them to have a passion for math, and that they will be able to teach other students what they learn as well. I have been teaching elementry students for a while, especially my younger cousins that need help in math. I am currently in the IB program and am in the mist of getting my Bilingual Diploma.
I am currently taking IB Math and have taking Trigonometry, Algebra 1 and 2, and geometry. In the past I have taught my little cousin math and she really enjoys math now.

I like to get to know my students and understand what they need help with. It is better to have a connection with your students and get to know them so that the tutoring runs smoothly.
I advise students to make sure they are comfortable with their teacher. This ensures that the student will not feel awkward or pressured into learning. The student should have a passion to learn and want to go to the tutoring sessions.
