About Ethan
I am currently a freshman at Yale University double majoring in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Film, with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence. My most recent tutoring position was at JEI Learning Center, where I helped students from elementary to high school improve their grades, gave college application counseling, and taught students a wide variety of subjects.
I scored a perfect score on both the SAT and SAT 2 Math tests, as well as scoring a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam. I also did a lot of competition math during my time as a high schooler, placing in competitions such as Kangaroo Math and MathCounts.
I was a qualifier for the National Physics Olympiad (top 400 students nationally). I also scored a 5 on the AP Physics 1, 2, and C (E&M and Mechanics) Exams. I am also currently taking University level Physics at Yale.
Currently I am studying Computer Science as part of my major, so it is a field I am well-versed in. I have also published Computer Vision research by MIT, and am currently working in an electrical engineering lab. In addition, I also work as a software developer for Yale's Cubesat project, and won the YHack Jetblue Challenge. Lastly, I scored a perfect 5 on the AP Computer Science Exam.
I scored a perfect 5 on the AP European history Exam.
Currently, I am acting as a private tutor to help keep my skills sharp until I continue my studies at Yale, this fall. I am spending the next few months tutoring students and helping them with their success stories in STEM. I would be honored to help you with yours.
