About Batoul
My name is Batoul Jaber and I am a senior Biomedical Engineering student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering University. I first started tutoring six (6) years ago with an emphasis in mathematics and science based courses. As I continued on to my undergraduate studies, I began tutoring engineering based courses in electrical engineering, college math (calculus), cell biology & genetics, and Physiology. I continue to tutor because I love developing and maintaining relationships with the students I tutor and watching them grow as students and as professionals. I also love to tutor because it provides my peers knowledge that may one day influence their career choices and goals.
In conjunction with pursuing my under graduate degree in biomedical engineering, I am currently an intern for a health care organization in a department focusing on clinical research/clinical trials conducted by physicians and research/medical professionals in Wisconsin and Illinois. My responsibilities as an intern include maintaining internal audits, negotiating research contracts for potential medical drug and device research, communicating with physicians and research/medical professionals, and other projects as needed. In the past, I have held positions in the research and medical fields as a research assistant in a Physiology lab at the Medical College of Wisconsin and as a clinic coordinator at a local dental office. These experiences, along with my undergraduate degree, have allowed me continued knowledge in the sciences. My degree has also allowed me strengthened skills in math (elementary through college), science (including biology/physiology, physics, and chemistry), and engineering (electrical, mechanical, and coding in MATLAB and C).
I look forward to tutoring my prospective students!
I started teaching through a tutoring website in high school six years ago where parents would contact potential tutors.
I started tutoring elementary and middle school students 6 years ago, which also includes students with learning disabilities. As I continued on to my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, I began to tutor my peers at the university Wellness Center in engineering courses and general science courses.

For new students, I first was to build a relationship based on trust, comfort, and communication. As a senior biomedical engineering student, I know how it feels to be lost in your course work at times. I like to make all my students feel like they're in a judgement free zone and feel comfortable enough to come to me with questions, concerns, or misunderstandings in their course work. To do so, I always try to become their friend as I also develop a professional relationship with them.
Elementary, middle school, high school, and college students. I have also tutored students with learning disabilities such as ADHD.

Details
I charge $30/hour. I have no minimum of maximum time length, but require the intervals of time to be by the half hour or hour. Any cancellations shall be done within 6 hours of a scheduled tutoring session and must be communicated via text, phone call, or email.
