About Arielle
Being able to share my various views and methods excites me the most when it comes to tutoring. Being the chilf of a Math Teacher myself, there is no room for misunderstanding when it comes to math.
I believe there is not only one way to solve a math problem. There is not only one way to understand a concept. What I enjoy most is when people are able to create their own understanding to things. Following from the book can be complicated and math strategies learnt in school only get more confusing as years pass. Creating you own understanding provides a better well-being and state of mind.
I began teaching from school. I helped my fellow students in class as well as friends from other subjects. I brought my teaching ability to a home environment when I began tutoring my younger family members.
As a recent high school graduate, I've taken various math-related classes. Mathematics courses including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and even College Trigonometry and Statistics. All of my classes have been honors and I have maintained a straight A/B record through the years.

When working with a new student, it is essential to evaluate what they are familiar with and what they need improvement in. Testing new students is always recommended before actual teaching.
I've worked with a variety of students that I'm familiar with. I worked with students who understand better to visual examples to students who work better through learning definitions. As the education system evolves, more formulas are created and more definitions are altered. So it is important to understand what student works well with.
