About Maria
Dr. Pace’s Biology and Science Tutoring is dedicated to helping students feel confident, capable, and successful in science. With over 23 years of teaching experience and New York State certification in Biology (Grades 7–12), Dr. Pace brings deep knowledge and a calm, supportive approach to every tutoring session.
Dr. Pace has taught high school biology, anatomy and physiology, science research, and general science, and has extensive experience providing individualized tutoring in all of these subjects, including New York State Regents Exam preparation. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, learning style, and academic goals.
At the heart of Dr. Pace’s work is a belief that science should be accessible to all students, regardless of their current level of academic readiness. Concepts are broken down in clear, manageable ways so students are never overwhelmed. By creating a supportive learning environment and removing the fear often associated with science, students build understanding, confidence, and a genuine sense of success.
Whether a student needs extra support, enrichment, or exam preparation, Dr. Pace’s Biology and Science Tutoring provides expert guidance with patience, clarity, and care.
