About Felecia
I teach all ages all styles. I have students who are professionals, students who just want to get in touch with their voice, students who want to become a professional but have never sung on stage, students who have been told they couldn’t sing and want to take lessons so that they can overcome their fears and student who need to open their throat chakra; sll great reasons to sing! I have continually been teaching lessons since 2008 and have taught lessons on going for over 30 something years. My students have gone on to sing all over the world and I am in touch with many of my students as a mentor from a far. Teaching voice is my life and my heart! I have sung professionally for many years ( over 40 years ) and my voice has been heard on the radio in over 157 countries having recorded 8 albums ( 2 solo albums of originals and 6 albums with Hundred Year Flood.) I’ve performed on stage and recorded on hundreds of projects. I’ve also produced my students voice in the recording studio for their albums as well.
I can’t tell you how much joy I get from teaching and singing. It thrills me so much to see my students improve and gain confidence. I am always in such a great mood after teaching, it fills my cup. I teach ONLINE only which has worked perfectly since 2020. I have students from all over the US and Mexico and beyond.
I started helping performers at the age of 15. After college I taught occasionally off and on for years. After moving to Santa Fe I became a full time voice and piano teacher.
Vocal Performance scholarship student / 3 years at Texas Tech University where I studied as a Vocal Performace major with one of the best voice teachers in the country. I have traveled and have toured with my band across seas to The Netherlands, Mexico and Canada as well as the United States. My music has been played on the radio in over 157 countries. The largest crowd I have ever sung for was in Dallas, Tx at the Cotton bowl for over 20,000 in attendance.

I start my lessons with a series of warm-ups and exercises to strengthen the voice and work on control of the breath and tone. I also work with the students on their repertoire and help prepare them for upcoming gigs, performances, etc. We will assess their range, breath control, tone and style. From there we will work on anything that needs addressed. I have a beautiful baby grand piano that is in tune and lessons go from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
I have worked with ages 4-99 from every walk of life and from every style of music almost. I love teaching professions and beginners alike.
Make sure you connect and have fun with the teacher and feel comfortable with them.

My 30 minute lessons start at $35 sliding scale to $45.
My one hour lessons start at $65 Sliding scale and go up to $75.
I offer for hour, eight hour and 12 hour blocks. These blocks are discounted.
