About Demetrius
Personal Introduction
I help people of all ages and abilities move better, get stronger, and perform at their highest level, through coaching that actually meets you where you are.
Coaching Philosophy
With 7 years of experience in strength coaching and personal training, my approach is rooted in understanding how the body is built to move. I use a structure-function methodology, prioritizing proximal stability, neuromuscular control, and intentional movement, to build programs that don’t just get results, they build resilience. Whether you’re new to the gym or competing on a national stage, the goal is always the same: help you develop a body and a relationship with training that lasts. I don’t want clients who need me forever.. I want clients who grow into athletes in their own right.
Passions Outside Coaching
Strength and movement have been part of my life long enough that the line between passion and profession blurred a long time ago. Outside the gym, I’m drawn to things that reward patience and precision, whether that’s great music, storytelling that actually goes somewhere, or just the craft of getting something right. I got into coaching because I believe the gym is one of the few places where effort and outcome are still honestly connected. That never gets old.
