About Rennie
Hello to whoever is reading this! My name is Rennie and I've been boxing for over 3 years now. I plan to turn pro at the end of the year! I have a lot of experience in boxing and I can teach you everything I know. My coach has over 50 years of experience and I soaked up a lot of information and I continusly do so. Boxing is my passion but what really makes me happy is when I can help someone else meet their fitness goals. I've helped dozens of friends, some family, and a few clients I got from recommendations lose weight and/or tone up/bulk up. I study nutrition and I make workouts for whether you are at home or a gym. I'm always early to my sessions if it's okay with my client just so we can warm up before the session even begins! I started teaching in the gym because on Saturdays we have a young kids program who come to the gym to learn about boxing. Ages range from 7 to 13. My coach would have to focus on one of his fighters sometimes so I would teach the class on some Saturdays and found out I not only love to box but I also love to teach it!
I've been boxing for over 3 years and I spar with professional boxers regularly. My coach has been teaching boxing for over 50 years so he has a lot of experience that I continusly soak up! I have a passion for boxing and I love to teach it as well!

About the lesson

First I get to know a little about my student and where their current fitness level is at. Then we will start off with the foundation of boxing! Learning how to shift weight and throw the jab. We will then learn about footwork. I have a whole formula to teach new students!
I've worked with kids the age of 7 - 13 and I've also trained a few of my friends around the ages of 19 - 27
I would advise them to talk to whoever they are trying to hire as a teacher before they hire them so they can get a feel of what they are about and what they can do for the student!
I recent event I'm fond of is my sparring session I had back in January 2021! I sparred my fellow boxing friend who is a pro and I won that session. Sparring isn't really a win or lose situation, however in your own head you know how you did performance wise. When I first used to spar with him he would wipe the floor with me. So for me to finally win and I'm not a pro yet made me feel very very happy!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
None. Don't stress yourself just ask because I'm the teacher. I'm here to help you with whatever you need boxing related. Even if you just had surgery or are severely out of shape I can teach you boxing. I can meet whatever needs my student has.

Details
Standard price is $40 a lesson but that also includes a workout that I will make for you to do to when you are not with me! I also will give you nutritional tips and foods to avoid if you're trying to lose weight or tone up.
