About Lissa
I have a deep love and understanding of how the body functions and responds to movement. As a Professional Wellcoach, I share a passion to help each person I meet achieve a higher-level of living on a daily basis. The yoga instructor in me has a life of expereince moving my body and learning to respect what the body is willing to give and willing to withhold.
I am a a proud garduate of Florida State University, 1989; Exercise Physiologist with American College of Sports Medicine, 1993; yoga instructor since 1998; Certified Professional Wellcoach, 2004; Owner/Operater/Instructor Yoga Sanctuary of Belleville, 2013.

I have been 'moving' my body since the age of 4. Started teaching group exercise, in the days of high-impact aerobic, as a young adult. Yoga became my primary moving-art in 1998. Knowing a yoga-practice will serve me deep into my old-age. The human-body is an incredible piece of machinery that must be used or become brittle and stuck.

Private Yoga begins with understanding needs and wants of client. Interviewing to confirm the proper, safe, purposeful yoga session is provided to the client based on individual goals.
Coaching begins with a client interviewing me to make sure I am the best coach for his/her needs. A complete health habits inventory is completed by client for review by coach to prepare for coaching relationship. Session can be in person or on-phone. Client will have access to web-platform to track progress (optional.) Client can purchase single sessions or packages.
4-90 years old! I am qaulitied to work with apparently healthy adults and those working with many disease processes.
Interview the teacher. Find a teacher that resonates with your life. One who listen to you and your unique needs.
When a client has an AHA! moment....physically, mentally and/or emotionally.
