I love being able to re-create on paper my vision of what I see before my eyes. Being able to help others understand the technical aspects pf photography and helping them to put on paper their personal visions of the world.
many people think photography is magic,

I need to know what the student wants to learn or practice. need to figure out where the student is and understands, and what the student expects from the lessons.
looking at samples of the students work and discussion helps
people who aleady have some knowlege of photography and reealize there is more to it than just pushing a button to "shoot" whatever is in front of them.
i would say the student should look for someone whose work they admire and want to emulate. they should also make sure the instructor can understand them and relate to their particular needs. an instructor who is patient and fun is just as important as experienced. people having fun love learning, and instructors having fun love teaching.
Mother's day function at a country club in Greenwich , Ct. We photographed family groups all day long and they went home with unique black and white images of their family. Love the people there. been doing it every year for ten years!

George was amazing. He helped me to get past a technical problem that I was struggling with for months. Plus, he's been graciously willing to continue help me further still beyond the class. I consider him a friend.
What a professional
