About Tara
Learning can be hard for everyone, myself included. Knowing how many people are turned off of learning new skills because of discouraging experiences with education, I am now dedicated to creating a smooth and non-judgmental learning process for others.
I also love teaching because I thrive on effective communication. Finding the perfect way to explain a concept makes me feel awesome, because I know that more often than not I've cleared up an area of anxiety and confusion for a student.

When I meet a new student, my number one priority is to find out why they're here. Are you looking to develop the skills necessary for a specific project? Do you want to get better at a general skill, like music improv or sight-reading? Everyone is different and there are no wrong answers.
From there, I propose some options for different areas we could explore in our lessons, and work with the student until we have something of a plan in place. Of course, this can always be changed!
