About Roland
Hello, thanks for being interested in furthering your musical education! I teach voice, piano, music theory, improvisation & composition/songwriting. Our studies can lean toward classical, musical theater, jazz, pop, rock, soul, blues, folk, country, funk, and/or world music. My focus is vocal performance and songwriting but I have a broad range of experience in many types of music so we can study anything that you find interesting. Lessons can be intensive or just for fun, depending upon your time commitment and interests. Some students only focus on one aspect and others prefer to study a combo. I live in Troy and I will come to your house.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule your first lesson. Thanks!
