Experienced tutor in Poetry in Mechanicsburg, Matthew offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

When I started at Messiah College as an English major (with a writing concentration), the FIRST piece of advice that I received from other writing students was to "take as many 'Matthew Roth' classes as possible". This was the BEST advice that I was given throughout my undergrad, outside of the advice that I received from Professor Roth about my writing.

In the avenue of writing and education, I have NEVER felt so blessed to be given such a gift as Professor Roth. He's fun, funny, intelligent, deep, appreciative, open-minded, caring, and all around just a rather baffling individual. His critiques are pure genius, and I feel so blessed to have been a student under this extraordinary human being.
