I attended Howard University as a Jazz Vocal performance major and Music Business Major.

When working with a new student I first want to understand what their goals are as a aspiring musician. I then create weekly lesson plans and create a comfortable enviroment by tailoring each lesson specifically for the need and level of each specific student. I specialize in pop, rnb, classical, country, dance, and singer-songwriter genres.
I have worked with ages 3- adults. My lesson plans and practices of teaching are geared towards each indiudual students specific needs and goals. I make the lessons informative, fun, and goal oriented.
My advice is to find a teacher who you feel will care and wants to see you succeed!
I am fond of working on arranging harmonies and vocals for other artist projects. It is alot of fun to bring a project/ record to life.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should ask what styles and genres of music a teacher focuses on.

Working with Shenna has been one of the best decisions I’ve made as a music artist.
Her approach to vocal lessons is top tier and she really works with you to find your flaws, and build your skills from the ground up, while also helping to find what techniques work best for you personally.
Shenna has taught me all the basics of singing, while also helping me find my own unique tone and style of execution.
I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for vocal lessons at any level.I love working with Ms.Shenna! She also helps with plans on releasing original music and you can tell she enjoys teaching. Thank you Ms.Shenna
