About Molly
Molly strives to offer eclectic and encompassing vocal instruction through all styles; classical to contemporary and everything in between. All Ages, All Styles, Beginner to Advanced.
Molly holds a BM in Music Education, BMP in Vocal Performance and an MM in Choral Conducting. She has been teaching privately for the past 14 years in addition to direct several local choirs and doing adjunct work at 2 local universities.
Molly's ultimate goal is to nurture a life-long love of singing and to create well-informed, confident, knowledgeable, healthy, and well-rounded vocalists all in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Singing is one of the most personal things that human beings are capable of....we are the instrument, so it is an absolute joy to be able to help people gain the confidence to express themselves through singing.
Basically all of my training relates to work. I've got nearly 2 decades of experience, and it's an amazing thing to not only work in the field that you studied in college, but to absolutely love what you do.

Generally, I like to take the first lesson to get to know each other a bit and discuss goals/objectives, musoc, scheduling, etc. We also will do a variety of warm-ups to establish your voice type, range, and so I can get a general idea of your instrument! All warm-ups are catered toward each individual student and their specific goals.
I've worked with all levels and ages in nearly every style and genre. From high school students looking to audition for college, to younger children that just love singing to adults that have always wanted to explore their voice and have decided that "now" is the time, to singer/songwriters looking to perfect their craft and learn tips and tricks for longevity and vocal health while touring.

Details
I typically recommend starting out with weekly, 30-minute lessons and I charge $30 per half hour. I am open to 45 and 60 minute lessons on a case-by-case basis.
