About Cristina
I have 12 years of experience as a languages teacher, focus on Spanish for foreigners. I was a Spanish teacher for foreigners in the Instituto de Idiomas Ibiza, Instituto Cervantes Oficial Center for over seven years. I have taught students from beginner to advanced level, individual classes, in groups, one-to-one and online.
I prepared students to present the A2 DELE official exam for the Instituto Cervantes. I use the communicative method. From the beginning, I like that my students find the confidence to talk about their personal goals, professions and hobbies, their daily life. I try that they see me as a colleague more than the traditional teacher using books all the time in a classroom. I adapt my courses to the goal and motivation of every student. Of course, I work with grammar but adjusting the theories to the student preferences.
I have a degree in French Language and Culture from the University of the State of Mexico focused on education.
