About Megan
An upbeat and positive learning environment is so important, especially with learning a new language! I plan our time together to make sure your best learning styles are being utilized, and you feel encouraged with the progress I am sure you will find while working together. I took years of Spanish in high school and college, and then spent 18 months teaching and serving people who speak Spanish from 2017-2019. I later lived in Peru for two months to help teach English, travel, and continue an immersive Spanish education that I maintain regularly. Let’s work together and make language learning a fun time!
I took 4 Spanish classes throughout High School, served an 18-month mission trip speaking Spanish, and now am traveling in Peru for two months!

I always start by getting to know you! Figuring out interests, hobbies, what you're having a tough time with about Spanish, why you want to learn it or how to help you want to learn it!
Look for someone who has real-life experience using the language. It is one thing to learn the basics from a textbook, and learning how to flow in conversation is different! Someone with experience using Spanish in an immersed setting will help you understand the "why"s of the language, not just the rules.
