About Maria Jose
I'm a 58 year-old woman whose mother tongue is Spanish , but I've been teaching English for 30 years, mostly to children under 12 and to adults. I'm considered to be a person who establishes good relationships with her students and that has a lot of patience and perseverance.
I like to encourage my students and to maximize the potential in them. I look for their likes, hobbies and strengths and prepare the lessons according to that.
It's important to motivate the students in my lessons so as to engage them quickly. That's why I look for interesting articles, videos, songs and I use body language to make the process of learning easier and faster.

First I get to know their likes and strengths and then I prepare the classes according to that.
The relationship between the teacher and the student is also very important.
Then I work with multiple intelligences and the 4 skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. So I have interesting articles, videos and audios to work with.
