Sylvain is a respected tutor in our community. He is highly recommended for his commitment and the quality of his lessons. An excellent choice to progress with confidence.
About Sylvain
I am a fully qualified economics teacher who obtained his Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the Institute of Education (IOE). This academic year, all my tutees performed well above their targets, an achievement that I am particularly happy about. I aim to instil my passion for economics and business studies in students while preparing them for the very important exams, looking at both the content and the exam practice. Having been exposed to economics since the age of 16, I have developed not just an enormous knowledge of the subject, but helped in familiarising myself with different exam boards and developing a great understanding of what examiners seek if students are to achieve the top-level marks.

One-to-one interactive lessons, a very applied approach with tasks and activities. My sessions involve filling students' gaps in content knowledge and getting them prepared for those very important exams. Being a full-time teacher makes me a better tutor than many who claim to have had years of experience working in the city (industry) as these are two different areas where economics is differently applied.

Economics teacher for over 5 years with amazing subject knowledge. Worked with every exam board and gained the skill of exam writing techniques at the highest level. Carefully plans his lessons and secures students learning.
Sylvain is a very trustworthy and prepared tutor of economics . It is evident his passion for the subject has given him a vast and holistic understanding of the topic thus allowing him to be effective in all areas of the AS and A2 economics specification.
Absolutely brilliant tutor, extremely attentive as well as passionate. Sylvain was always on time, provided the right level of support and had a high quality of teaching. He helped my son with his A Levels and managed to support him with getting his grades A*AA. Massive thank you Sylvain, from the whole Nunes family.
