I’ve worked with month old children all the way to late 60’s I teach all ages. i work with disabilities as well and created special programs for everyone individually.
Be willing to learn what they are willing to teach you. They obviously have something you are looking for so be grateful for whatever they are willing to share with you.
Be sure the teacher can tell you what you will be expected to learn by the end of your sessions, requirements, dangers, and emergency plans. They should be able to tell you best ways or practices for any given skill.
