About Samantha
I taught swim lessons with a lifeguard company in TX for most summers during high school so I have experience teaching all ages. In my lessons I incorporate lots of swimming games and fun techniques to help kids (especially younger) stay interested.
My favorite thing about swim lessons is watching the kids become better swimmers and get more comfortable with the water.
I started teaching swim lessons at 16 years old with Bearfoot Management which is a lifeguard company in North Texas.
I have also been a lifeguard for a number of summers and have current CPR/first aid training.

With students that are brand new to swimming I usually start with reminding them about pool safety. Then I assess their comfort level with the water and build from there.
Mostly kids ages 2-8
This past summer I was teaching a group of 3 kids (ages 2-3) and it was so fun to see them go from being super shy and nervous around the water to blowing bubbles and paddling and kicking with a kickboard.
