About Leigh

Leigh's League provides quality one-on-one or group tennis coaching and training starting from 8-18 years of age at an affordable price. I also have group lessons for up to 4 students at a time.

Was asked by a neighbor to teach their son, and discovered I LOVE TEACHING just as much as playing and making music!

Taught for 15 years.

Currently studying under Professors at SDSU to finish education in Music Ed program.

Performend and Studied Piano for 25 years.

Have learned under Professors who were from Julliard, Ohio State, Michigan, and have performed in Carnegie Hall.

About the lesson

FREE INTRO LESSON! :)

Depending on your music experience, we will explore reading music, playing notes, start learning a new song! Students get to choose a popular song they'd like to learn or a more classical song to start.

Children to grandparents!

Understand students with Special Needs.

I am open to any student in any circumstance no matter how difficult or unique. I hope to learn from you!

Don't be afraid! It is amazing how uplifting or inspiring music can enhance your life! The piano is a major way to bring this exciting world to you!

Watching my student play an arrangement of a song she wrote herself!

Seeing a student go from not reading music to playing an ADVANCED piece in a year! (Usually takes 5 years)

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How long should I practice each day?

Do I need to buy my own piano book?

I already read music, what will I learn next?

Leigh is everything you want in a tennis coach for children- positive, patient, and FUN! Her technique is excellent so she really knows her stuff. Leigh's teaching style is one that will build your child's confidence as well as their skills. What more could you want in a coach? I highly recommend her!

Leigh is a great teacher and finallyn the first one of many that I've had to teach me how to finally serve. After 15 years of playing tennis she has helped me to get the proper form.

She took the time and care with me. She even recorded my serve and checked it with me in slowmo to show me step-by-step what I needed to change and improve and what I did well.

She is also very friendly and great at following up.
