About Hannah
My name is Hannah and I've played volleyball for almost 15 years! I started in 3rd grade and played through my senior year of college. I played club volleyball for North Pacific Juniors and got athletic & academic scholarships to play in college.
I played volleyball at Southern Oregon University, an NAIA school, where we finished 9th in the nation. I was a setter my entire career, and as any setter can tell you, you need to understand every position and coach your fellow players.
I fell in love with volleyball because of the great coaches that supported me my whole career and strive to do the same for all the athletes I work with. I wholeheartedly believe any athlete can get to the level they strive to through hard work and grit - and I'd love to get them there!

I love volleyball because it has made me the woman I am today. I want to pass that on to as many people as I can!
I have gained confidence, worked through struggles, developed my sense of purpose, and created a work ethic that benefits me every single day.
I believe every young woman deserves to feel confident and live with purpose - this is my WHY.
I started coaching at SOU Volleyball Camps when I was in college and loved it!
In Winter 2020 I coached my first 14u club volleyball team. Watching the growth the players had through just a few months was so rewarding!
I played volleyball for 14 years: 7 years playing club volleyball and 5 years were at the collegiate level. I attended 5 intensive volleyball camps while in high school: 1 was through USA Volleyball in Las Vegas, NV.
I started my coaching career at Ashland Volleyball Club (Ashland, OR) in Winter 2020 for a 14u team.
I started private lessons for players in 2020.

When working with a new client, first I'll find out what level they are at - what skills are most advanced, what needs the most help. This is done through an evaluation and talking to the client (and family). Then I'll customize lessons to that individual based on skill level, time, # of lessons per week, and any other factors.
I want to make sure everyone gets what they want out of a lesson, no matter the skill level.
I have worked with girls aged 10-18.
For ages 10-15, I am comfortable teaching all skills of volleyball.
I specialize in setting: I was a setter for 12 years and love teaching advanced skills to any age, but especially those looking to play at the Varsity or Collegiate levels.
I would look for a teacher that loves what they do and has the skills they desire. If the teacher is passionate, they will help you and make you better!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
First, think about your GOAL: What do you want out of these lessons? Is it to make a team? Is it to develop a certain skill?
Second, think of your WHY: Why do you play volleyball? To gain your full potential, you need to have a reason to keep showing up and getting better!
Your GOAL is a specific outcome you want. Your WHY is what keeps you working towards that goal.
