About Margo
Svaroopa (pronounced “svah-roo-pah”) is a healing style of yoga that uses a variety of unique poses to create a deep release of tension throughout the body. The experience of a significant reduction of tension, leaves the body feeling flexible, supple and rejuvenated. Using props to support the body in a well-aligned pose allows for optimal release.
I work with all abilities and anyone with a desire to make healthy changes in their life. 14 years of experience in this style of yoga and 5 years as a trainer of teachers in this style has given me the foundation to guide all on the yogic path.
I enjoy watching students grow and expand in multiple ways, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Yoga works on so many layers to bring peace and well being to anyone who steps on the path.
I use meditation, breathing, poses and even lifestyle suggestions to bring a student back into balance. Accessing your needs and creating a plan of action that suits you and your goals is my course of action in getting you to your optimal health.
C-IAYT - Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapy
E-RYT - Experienced over 1000 hour trained Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance
CSYT - Certified Svaroopa Yoga Teacher and Teacher Trainer

First, a phone discussion of their needs, physical abilities and goals to access whether my services are a good fit for their needs.
Second, an initial session usually longer than the regular sessions to get more specific on how we will work together, their goals and scheduling specifics. It is important to me to establish true desire for change and commitment to follow through. Then a short practice included in this session.
Lastly, continued sessions adjusted according to needs and specific goals.
