About Jessica
I believe I stand out through the combination of years of experience in teaching a wide variety of people with a wide variety of challenges and a solid background of training with excellent teachers. I have over 7000 hours of teaching experience and have been able to work through a wide variety of challenges for people in both group and private settings throughout that time. I now offer the option for online lessons making my services convienient and flexible. My studio was also voted Best Yoga Studio in the Souhegan Region 7 years in a row. My reputation stands out in the community at large.
I love seeing the transformation in my students. Especially when they move from a place of being dubious about their abilities to the realization that a great deal is possible with time and dedication.
I began at the studio I trained in. I then moved to NH and started teaching for another studio owner and eventually bought the business from her.
I received my 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification in 2010 from Naturally Yoga in Glen Rock, NJ where I studied with Sheryl & Neil Edsall and upon graduation, was given the spiritual name Suvali which means “Full of Grace”. I've also completed certifications in Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga (2011), Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga with Sadie Nardini (2013) and in March 2014 I completed a weekend Yin Yoga teacher training intensive with Josh Summers. In 2020, I completed her 500 hour Yoga Alliance Certification with Jason Crandell in San Francisco.

I often begin with a phone or email consultation to get to know the student a bit more and introduce myself to them. I want to make sure I understand some of their percieved challenges and goals before we begin. We'll then plan a single lesson or a series of lessons to address those needs together. People often take one lesson with me and when we've completed that lesson we'll evaluate how we want to move forward. The actual content of the lesson will be based on what aspects of yoga and/or meditation are most important to the student.
Young, old, big, small, with and without health concerns and everyone in between!
It's important to have the right fit of expertise and personality. An initial phone call or series of email exchanges will save you time and money in getting to know if a teacher is right for you. Making sure you have clear goals and expectations in mind will help the process.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What results do you want to achieve? What inhibits you from reaching those results on your own? What combination of skills and knowledge do you need your teacher to provide? What are your expectations on the time it will take to reach your goals? Does your teacher believe those expectations are reasonable? What is your budget?
