About Sonia
Sonia has been teaching and practicing yoga and belly dance for 8 years with public classes and private clients. Her students range from office workers to musicians to athletes to students with specific needs because of injuries or medications. Her goal is to leave her students satisfied and educated about thier body and approach to thier mindfulness. Her yoga and belly dance practice and exercises continue to highlight conditioning for low back pain, body building, and increased flexibility.

I like students to see results on a faily quick basis, so I want my students to be aware of thier goals in the short term and the long term. I access student injuries if any, daily routine, and athletic history. I love resources and reading so I love sharing articles on how they can improve thier eating and exercise habits outside of private sessions. I am also hands on, so students should be comfortable with getting adjustments.
Athletes, Musicians, Office Workers, Veterans, Seniors, Kids
Know your schedule, know where you can fit in time for your health and wellness, observe your medical history and athetic history, observe how you carry yourself physically on a regular routine week (are you seated or standing during work? do you take stairs or elevator?). Where are you now physically and where do you want to be in a month, 3 months, and a year? Observing these areas gives you a better percpective on how a yoga practice can best benefit you.
