About Kade
I’m a violin tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience and a Diploma in Classical Violin. While I have a strong foundation in classical training, I’m truly passionate about exploring crossover styles like Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. I love encouraging students to step beyond traditional boundaries and discover new ways to express themselves through the violin. Improvisation is at the heart of my teaching. I incorporate looping pedals and creative performance techniques to make lessons fun and dynamic. This helps students develop their own unique sound and build confidence in experimenting with tone and texture. I guide them in writing their own solos and adapting popular songs, so they feel connected to the music they play. My goal is to inspire students to see the violin not just as an instrument for classical pieces, but as a versatile tool for creativity. Whether it’s creating fresh grooves or blending different genres, I support each student’s musical journey. Together, we unlock the full potential of the violin and push the limits of what it can do. This includes working on phrasing, stage presence, and adapting violin playing to support vocal performances effectively. I encourage students to explore their own musical voice, helping them communicate feelings clearly through their instrument. My method combines structured practice with creative exercises, ensuring steady progress and maintaining motivation. Whether a beginner or an advanced player, I focus on making learning enjoyable and meaningful. Together, we develop skills that enhance both technical mastery and artistic expression. My goal is to help each student feel confident and inspired every time they play.
