About Violet
I am a professional violinist with over 10 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. My classical training forms the foundation of my teaching, providing students with strong technical skills and musical understanding. I specialize in bowing technique, vibrato, phrasing, and interpretation, helping students express themselves across Classical, Contemporary, and Cinematic styles. I have extensive experience guiding students through ABRSM and Trinity exams, ensuring confident, well-prepared performances. Beyond exams, I provide orchestral coaching, preparing learners for ensemble playing and real-world performance scenarios. My lessons balance disciplined technical work with opportunities for creative expression, allowing each student to develop a unique voice on the violin. I encourage exploration of modern and cinematic music while maintaining classical precision. Each session is tailored to the student’s goals, whether that’s exam success, solo performance, or personal musical growth. Learning the violin is both a disciplined practice and an artistic journey.
