About Archimede

professional vocal coach, singing teacher, and speech pathologist with over 12 years of experience working with the voice across both artistic and clinical contexts. I hold degrees in Theatre Performance and Speech Therapy, and have studied multiple vocal techniques with internationally renowned coaches. My work is grounded in continuous research and a deep passion for voice science.

As a performer, I’ve worked as a soloist, ensemble singer, actor, and beatboxer. I trained at the Accademia del Teatro Stabile di Torino and the Scuola “Il mestiere del teatro” in Prato, and spent five years performing in theatrical and musical settings, including with the Vocal Blue Trains gospel/electronic choir.

I’ve always felt a strong desire to understand and truly grasp the complexity of what I could do with my voice. I wanted to improve not only through practice, but through deeper awareness—to truly own the sounds I was making. This curiosity led me to explore the voice from a scientific perspective, ultimately guiding me toward speech pathology and voice research.

Clinically, I specialize in the treatment of vocal disorders, particularly for professional voice users. I’m an expert and researcher in the Proprioceptive Elastic Method (Pro.El.), and currently the only representative of this method in Oceania. In 2024, I was both an organizer and a member of the Artistic Committee for the Pan-European Voice Conference (PEVOC). I’m currently in the process of obtaining accreditation as a speech pathologist in Australia to continue offering evidence-based voice care in my new professional context.

My approach to vocal coaching blends technical precision, artistic depth, and scientific insight. I tailor each session to the needs of the individual—whether singers, actors, or speakers—fostering vocal health, freedom, and expressive confidence. I’m committed to ongoing study and professional development to ensure my clients receive the most current, effective, and personalized voice training possible.

I’ve sung solo, fronted bands, performed in pro choirs, acted in Italian theatre, and beatboxed; so I know the real-world demands on a working voice from multiples points of view.

My coaching blends a deep knowledge of voice science, solid technique, and artistic freedom.

Whether you’re a professional singer, actor, or brand-new learner, I’ll help you widen your range, add power, and keep your voice healthy for life. Every session is shaped around your goals, your sound, and your learning style.

  • 1) When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

Music hooked me at about five years old-I played Mozart's Magic Flute on repeat. My love for the voice came later. As a theatre kid, I started taking singing lessons because I wanted to understand the sounds I made on stage. That curiosity led me to a journey that arrived to Speech Pathology so I could grasp the full workings of singing and performance.
  • 2) Is there a particular type of music or artist you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

I dive deep into one style or a few artists for a month or two, then move on. Right now it's Michael Kiwanuka, Tom Misch and other neo-soul acts. Next month it could be bossa nova, metal or classic pop-whatever grabs me.
  • 3) Explain the most difficult or 'riveting' lesson you could personally give a student.

Everything in the voice is connected. Tongue tension shifts with foot posture, and you'll sing differently if you block one ear or the other. Room size, style, gear and personal story all interact. Each student needs a plan that fits their story and anatomy. That's what is riveting to me but my job is to set that challenge that is not overwhelming for the student and that still feels creative and fun (we are making music after all).
At lesson I usually say, "If you feel your brain sweating, you're learning."
  • 4) What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master, and why?

Every instrument has its own hurdles. Musicians are athletes of tiny muscles, and perfect technique can still sound cold. the most difficult instrument is being able to transform that skill in something that speaks to a deeper part of us. (sorry i got philosophical eheheh)
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

    - I never stop (I mean it literally!) studying music and voice.

    - I aim to give my best in every setting.

    - I value honesty-if I don't know something, I say so and then research it. This approach keeps me growing and builds strong, trusting bonds with my students
  • 6) Name three musicians you'd love to meet in a bar at 3 a.m. and why.

    - Chick Corea: I cannot tell how many times i listened to some of his solos and i cannot immagine him but being the sweetest and most down to earth person ever

    - Jeff Buckley: To hear his voice live would mean the world

    - Caparezza: one of my childhood heroes, I'm still Italian (makes random hand gestures)
  • 7) Provide a valuable anecdote from your musical journey or music-school days.

I always wanted to know how my "instrument" worked and how to use it creatively. Early teachers used approaches that suited them but didn't suit me, my body just knew that.
It took years of practice, performing, studies and a Speech Pathology degree to understand why and how singing works. I'm still digging for answers, and I urge my students to do the same: hard questions hide real treasure.
  • 8) What little touches make you a Superprof in music?

I'm a cheerful voice nerd who loves sharing knowledge. I go the extra mile so students reach their goals, backing everything with science and experience. Lessons are 100 % student-centred. If someone wants clear direction from a serious yet fun voice geek, I'm their guy!
