About Rebecca
Classically trained, but experienced in singing a variety of styles, Becky is a confident vocalist who has been singing since a young age. She joined the Somerset Youth Choir at the age of 13 and during her time there she was singled out to perform solos including in the Vivaldi Gloria. At university whilst studying for a Drama and Music degree, Becky sang the alto solo in Mozart’s requiem and took her grade 8 singing. Shortly after graduating Becky was the featured soloist for South Somerset Choral Society.
Having sung in various bands, choirs and ensembles I spent some years singing with Bristol Opera Company and their professional touring sister company, Tessitoura. In both of these I gained solo roles and later on she directed Tessitoura’s productions for three seasons. I also sang regularly with NotaBene, a Bristol based a cappella group with a varied repertoire which included madrigals, jazz and original adaptations of rock and pop songs in close harmony. I recorded the album ‘Summer in the City’ with NotaBene.
During the last five years I have moved around the world with my family and I am pleased to have now returned to the U.K. and follow my first love of music.
I specialise in technique, performance and helping others find their voice and confidence within.

Classically trained, but experienced in singing a variety of styles, I am a confident vocalist who has been singing since a young age.
I believe in teaching to the students needs and wants. We would always begin with a breathing warmup and the same simple vocal exercises before moving on to putting technique into practise by learning a song or two.
The main aim of any lesson is to discover your voice and enjoy yourself. I have a relaxed approach and want my students to find joy within singing.
Length of a lesson can be anything from 30 minutes to an hour.
