About Simon
I am a working musician with over 10 years of gigging experience. I have been teaching privately for 3 years, my students range from primary school students to mature age adults in their 60s. I have many none English speaking background students and have had much success. Although my main instrument is bass (acoustic & electric), I have an extensive knowledge of most instruments within a contemporary setting (including jazz and Latin). I have worked as music directors for many musicians including ex X-factor contestants.

I employ a hands on approach when it comes to teaching. I try to relate the topic to a familiar ground with my students be it their instrument or daw program. Although I don't believe in shortcuts, I do have a few tricks and formulas to help students with understanding and applying theoretical knowledge.
