Hi, I’m Yumna! A Year 12 student. I’m super passionate about English and am confident in my abilities to help you succeed! With experience as a Zone Champion in debating and a Peer Mentor, studying english extension 1 and extension 2. I know how to explain things clearly and make lessons engaging. I cater to each student’s needs, providing personalised feedback, marking work, and going through everything step-by-step. Whether it’s rewriting or improving your assignments, I’m here to make sure you understand and do your best.

My Approach to Tutoring
I provide clear, step-by-step guidance to help students improve their English skills. I focus on practical exercises, offering personalised feedback and helping students understand the material fully. I mark and review work with students, breaking it down and ensuring they grasp key concepts. If needed, I help rewrite and refine their work to ensure they’re on the right track.
With my experience in debating and as a peer mentor, I know how to explain ideas in a way that’s engaging and easy to understand. I work with younger students and offer ongoing support to help them build confidence and excel in English.
My lessons typically last 45 mins- 1 hour or up to 2 hours but you can adjust it to how long you would like. This ensures we have enough time to cover the material thoroughly while also keeping the sessions focused and engaging.
I offer tutoring for students in younger grades, including those in primary and early high school years. Whether a student needs help with reading, writing, comprehension, or preparation for English exams, I am here to provide the support they need.
