About Michael
I have a B.S. in Meteorology, and an M.Ed. in Mathematics Education from PSU. I have been teaching in public secondary schools for over 20 years, and currently work at a Community College as a tutor of mathematics and have helped a wide variety of students.

My first concern is the finding content and test taking skills that the student lacks in the context of the particular test they wish to take. Discussion with the student and observation of efforts further informs our efforts. Clear explanation, appropriate for the learner, guides subsequent attempts at problem solving. I am strongest at high school level mathematics which appears on standardized tests such as the ASVAB, ACT, and SAT. I have 8 years experience designing and implementing SAT mathematics instruction focusing on reducing disruptive anxiety and increasing scores. I claim an ability to maximize gains of student efforts.
