About Maki
My name is Maki. I’ve been living in Sydney for a year and a half, after being born and raised in Tokyo, where I studied economics at university. With over 20 years of experience at a major Japanese company, I was deeply involved in international sales, focusing on ODA and overseas projects. Currently, I’m leading the launch of medical devices in Sydney. My diverse background includes interests in baseball, sumo, American football, rugby, yoga, pilates, golf, and more. I also coached youth baseball in Tokyo. Lately, I’ve been enjoying takoyaki parties, learning the ukulele, and exploring the great outdoors through camping.

Teaching Methodology: Fun and engaging approach to mastering baseball fundamentals —hitting, pitching, catching, and running.
Typical Lesson Length: 60 minutes.
Qualifications/Experience: Over 30 years of baseball experience; 13 years coaching youth teams in Tokyo, with a proven track record of leading teams to the top level nationally and achieving 1st place out of 6,000 teams in Tokyo.
Student: All ages (from 2 years old) all genders and all levels; individual lessons, group sessions, and team coaching.
Place: Sydney (Chatswood) / Travel available
