About My Lessons & Teaching Methodology
My approach to tutoring is fundamentally student-centered, goal-oriented, and highly interactive. Having achieved an Academic IELTS overall band of 8.0 (with a perfect 9.0 in Reading and 8.0 in Writing) and a perfect 90/90 in PTE Academic, I know exactly what it takes to master English, break through scoring plateaus, and build genuine communication confidence.
My Teaching Techniques & Methodology:
The Diagnostic Approach: We begin by identifying your specific linguistic gaps—whether it is grammatical precision, vocabulary depth, or fluency blocks. Every lesson is customized to target these areas directly.
Active Output & Feedback: Language is a tool, not just a subject. I focus heavily on active speaking and writing production during our sessions, followed by immediate, constructive feedback to refine your skills.
Scaffolded Learning: Complex academic concepts or exam criteria (such as IELTS/PTE rubrics) are broken down into manageable, actionable steps, making high scores achievable rather than overwhelming.
Typical Lesson Structure & Length:
Standard Duration: Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, which is the optimal time to maintain high focus and achieve meaningful progress.
Structure: We spend the first 5 minutes reviewing previous concepts, 40 minutes on core targeted learning and active practice, and the final 15 minutes on error correction, feedback, and setting actionable goals for the week. (Longer sessions can be arranged upon request).
