About Livicode
Hello! I’m Femi (Enhanced DBS Checked), an experienced Educator and Founder of Livicode Tech Solutions, where I help young people build real confidence in computing and technology. With a Master's Degree in Cryptography and Cybersecurity, BSc in Software Development, several certifications in different areas of Software Development Lifecycle and digital education, I’ve spent over a decade simplifying complex tech concepts for learners — turning what often feels intimidating into something logical, engaging, and even fun! I’ve worked with students across different schools and levels, helping them achieve top grades in GCSE Computer Science (OCR J277) and develop lasting skills in problem-solving, algorithms, and Python programming. My approach blends technical expertise with patience and encouragement — ensuring every student feels supported and capable. Beyond teaching, I mentor my students and work with local secondary schools to offer hands-on work experience placements twice a year. If your child needs a boost in confidence, structured exam preparation, or wants to fall in love with computing again — I’d be delighted to help them reach their potential.

My lessons are interactive, structured, and exam-focused, designed specifically around the OCR GCSE Computer Science (J277) specification. We cover both Paper 1 and Paper 2 in detail: + Computer Systems (Paper 1): systems architecture, memory, storage, networks, and cybersecurity + Computational Thinking (Paper 2): algorithms, logic, data representation, and Python programming Each session combines clear explanations with practical coding exercises, exam-style questions, and real‑world examples to make learning stick. We use carefully selected, proven software tools that make it easy for your child to understand coding concepts clearly-focusing on real comprehension rather than rote memorisation. I tailor every lesson to the student’s pace, ensuring they not only understand the material but can apply it confidently under exam conditions. Parents receive feedback on progress, strengths, and areas for improvement — so you can see your child’s development week by week. Whether your child aims for a grade boost or long-term tech fluency, these sessions will equip them with the skills, confidence, and curiosity to succeed in Computer Science - and beyond.

This is one of the most patient, thoughtful and understanding teachers I know. If you ever need computer knowledge from the age of 7 to 77, this would be the only person I can personally vouch for to teach and explain any computer related concept accurately!
Livicode is a great tutor who explains concepts well using concrete examples to ensure understanding. Studying with Livicode expanded my personal skillset and helped me find freelance work.
