About Davi
Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I provide a structured and comprehensive approach to guitar teaching that combines technical expertise with musical insight. I focus on foundational techniques such as posture, finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm, strumming, and tone control, gradually introducing improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is incorporated practically, allowing students to understand and apply concepts to real music. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and learning style, ensuring engagement and steady progress. I emphasise technical skill, expressive playing, and performance readiness, helping students develop confidence on their instrument. Ear training, sight-reading, and improvisation are key components of my lessons. I cover multiple genres, from classical and jazz to rock, blues, and pop, broadening musical understanding. Structured practice routines, personalised feedback, and guidance help students overcome challenges efficiently. I balance discipline and creativity, making learning both effective and inspiring. I celebrate milestones to reinforce progress and motivation. Students gain both technical proficiency and artistic insight, preparing them for performance and creative expression. The guitar is an instrument of emotion and power, and my lessons are designed to unlock both. With a Master’s in Music and years of experience, I bring a professional yet personal approach to teaching. We begin with solid technical training—chords, scales, and rhythm foundations. As skills grow, we explore advanced playing styles, improvisation, and songwriting. My lessons are customised for each student’s goals and pace. I incorporate music theory through practical examples from real songs. Students also develop ear training and rhythm awareness through engaging exercises. I emphasise clean playing, dynamic control, and expressive phrasing. Every class includes constructive feedback and guided practice routines. I encourage creativity and musical independence in every learner. Performance readiness, confidence, and emotional connection are key parts of my teaching. By the end, you’ll not only play guitar—you’ll speak its language fluently.
