About Nathan
Hello! My name is Nathan. As a current MEng Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Sheffield, I am uniquely positioned to help students navigate their academic journeys. Because I am preparing to step into the professional working world myself, I deeply understand how mastering academia today directly unlocks the career and future you want tomorrow.
Having successfully navigated GCSEs, A-Levels, and the university transition not too long ago, I offer my students much more than standard curriculum tutoring. My approach to tutoring centres on breaking down complex mathematical concepts into manageable, intuitive steps. As a first-class Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Sheffield, I use mathematics daily, allowing me to bring practical, real-world context to the curriculum.

I tailor every lesson dynamically to align with each individual's unique learning style and specific exam board requirements. Rather than relying on rote memorisation, my methodology focuses on true conceptual understanding.
A typical session uses the following structure:
- Interactive Breakdown: We dissect tricky topics using digital tools and structured, personalised examples.
- Guided Practice: We tackle targeted problems together, gradually shifting the responsibility to the student to build independent problem-solving skills.
- Exam Strategy: We review active recall methods and real past paper questions to maximise exam confidence and technique.
Lesson Structure:
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, which is the perfect length to maintain high engagement while thoroughly covering a topic. However, session lengths can be adjusted based on individual student needs.
