About Shantela
Considering the flow of a floor plan feels like solving a complex puzzle in real time. We explore the intersection of hand sketching and 3D modelling using a process derived from my 13 years of practice.
I ensure that every session maintains a balance between creative theory and sustainable design execution. A design brief assigned after every class forces you to apply concepts immediately. We treat SketchUp and other tools as extensions of your design intent. My methodology keeps the workload manageable and clear.

Drawing a single line on paper dictates the survival of a building. I possess a Master of Architecture from Bartlett and an MSc in Computer Science from UCL, providing a unique vantage point on design theory.
My 13 years of experience have seen hundreds of students develop their technical drafting and rendering skills. I emphasise the importance of site analysis in every project. You will find my critique process rigorous yet focused on your long-term growth.
