About Bennet
I am an experienced and qualified teacher of History and Politics. Throughout my career I have taught in state schools, grammar schools, independent schools and sixth form colleges adapting my teaching to students of all backgrounds. Most recently, I led the teaching and planning of the History curriculum at an outstanding sixth form college. I am currently a programme lead for Voice 21, offering expert consultation and training to teachers on implementing oracy education in their schools.

My lessons typically last one hour and always are tailored to your needs. I believe that dialogue and discussion is crucial to success and fostering a love of learning in my subjects. I specialise in giving expert advice and guidance on examination technique for Edexcel GCSE History, OCR A Level History and Edexcel A Level Politics, supporting my students to achieve exceptional results. I will support you to improve your essay writing and maximise your final grade through expert feedback designed to help you progress. In 2024, 78% of my A Level Politics students achieved A*/A grades.
